The Grade thing is ridiculous. This isn't Harvard light. Steve Spurrier told SoCar the next player they wouldn't admit that the SEC admits, he was gone. They haven't screwed with him since. I guess we are turning into more of a Vandy type team. Higher standards, many more losses. There is still some cancerous tumors lodged deeply in the AThletic Dept. I hope they are cut out soon. It's time to get back to kicking butt and taking names. We have been a joke. The turds have toyed with us like a cat playing with a mouse. This crap has to stop. Rodney may not be a choir boy, but we need some backbone over there. Maybe all of our fans won't proclaim our coaches the best until they actually do something this time. All we heard last year was stache this, and stache that. How great thou stache is. Well, the stache sucked. Thank God the stache is gone.

Is there a particular reason why Auburn's grade standards for JUCO transfers is tougher than for other SEC schools?

On a related note, in general the academic admission requirements for Auburn have always been tougher than for our "state U" across the state. Many, many years ago my older sister transferred from AU to UA (for love - and no it didn't last!!), and my dad always maintained she raised the GPA for both schools when she did

I like the slightly higher academic requirements. Auburn should make that public, then maybe people would back off some of the Auburn jokes.

I was thinking the same thing. This is the kind of info that needs to be out there over and over. It is little things like this that make a difference. I wish our SID or marketing people would be more agressive than they are.
