  • Sorry, but I'm just not seeing the aggressive, fast-paced, physical game from Auburn that Coach Barbee talks about. The only thing I remember is Henderson getting mauled at the end then making his free throws to win the game. What I am seeing is confusion and terrible shooting. This has to be very frustrating for the coaches. Another coaching change is not the answer. Barbee has to be given another year. After that, the question would be who would want the job?

  • Truly no class from Henderson, it would be different if we're Kobe Bryant or someone that will actually play in NBA. It'll come back on him, he just got his moment of fame for 3 1/2 seconds, you prob won't ever hear his name again lol anyways, I do think Horton will do a great job given his track record and how fired up he is about getting the RB job. CGM, IMO, will have a class that will reach far beyond those of our past coaches, Malzahn is da man, so are PM for all you do!!

    which begs the question WHY who or what is it? I'm honestly curious now because after hearing multiple friends of mine that went the the AU MissST game that one should have been in the bag. I want nothing but the best for these guys and the coaches but is there some type of problem in communication?

  • What an immature young man! I am sorry to say he will probably have an encounter with some unhappy fans if he continues his antics. You should not incite a riot without backup and I sure didn't see any other players with him he could fall back on for help if he got into trouble. Sure didn't show very much class did he?

    The LSU-Kentucky game makes my point. Vanderbilt took Kentucky to the final seconds and Ole Miss to overtime. Really, with the exception of Florida, any team can lose to any other team in the SEC right now, especially on the road. The need for some Auburn folks to trash their own is something I'll never quite understand. Auburn basketball has been a struggle for years. It's going to take time. Barbee is not going to be fired.

    Just read this article and thought I'd share with you all, we were ranked #1 as the most loyal fans in the country for our school!! No other SEC school made the top 5! WDE. BUT the SEC has the most loyal fans as a whole! But we are #1! Hoping this will translate to the field, despite the worst season in our history, we still love our Tigers!!! Btw I found an old Auburn toboggan and on it it reads " Auburn" on the front and the back reads "War Eagles" lol anyone out there have 1 too? Lol

    Agreed!! Just because we aren't winning much, I would never degrade or talk trash about our program, I want to be optimistic that we can achieve the best out of every sport at Auburn, from swimming, equestrian, soccer, golf, etc. might not watch the sports but we have representatives of Auburn athletes that show and live by the Creed! WDE

    It was actually AU-Ole Miss. I was at the game and we certainly could have won it. Not sure what you are saying about communication. We had a chance to score that would have put us up two with less than 10 seconds to play, but didn't execute very well. Barbee has this team competing with a walk-on point guard and Chub. If Barbee can get the players he wants in place I think our basketball team will for once have a bright future.
