I second , that Second!!!
There is NOTHING like the excitement , the pagentry and the electric atmosphere that the College Football Season brings to this country......College Football is played by young men who love the game of footballl and play it for "That Reason".....
The NFL is played by "Most" because its a way to make Alot of money.....there is a HUGE differance

Alabama will beat ND in a not even close game. The game that I would like to have seen for the NC would have been Texas A&M and Oregon. As for Ark St, I'm looking forward to the real Malzahn offense next season. Last night those guys were running offensive plays every 15 seconds.

Best I remember, you picked against Notre Dame almost every week this season. I am sure this is the best team they have played, but I hope your record of picking them wrong continues through this game. War Damn Irish!!!

Good stuff! Enjoyed seeing the game last night. I thought Ark St played well on bith sides of the ball. Looking forward to having those 3 coaches full-time for the O&B now!

That's a stat that goes unnoticed by many. Thanks for shedding light on it, PM! Close games are won/lost that way....I think we're all looking forward to a well disciplined offense that scores lots of points.....the future is bright indeed! WAR EAGLE!!

That part about the nfl is a bunch of baloney. The nfl is the pinnacle of football excellence. It is what these kids work their entire career to achieve. It is a career and the $ is part of the reward for achieving and sustaining at the top level of the profession.
And to succeed and stay at that level it has to become your job, 24/7. Everybody goes through struggles with their job, no matter the profession.
college players are still hungry and trying to 'make it' to the next level, hence the passion. don't kid yourself, they are playing for a free ride, education, and chance to make it to the next level, and of course love of the game, but if you think it's all about love of the game, you are deluding yourself.
