I don't need a bunch of high profile college coaches filling my sons head with God knows what before he has reached an age to be able to process it. Any more than the specified amount would mean automatic expulsion of your school. D1, DII, DIII, Junior College. They will all educate my son. School will always be first and sports second.

It's funny that everyone, including bama fans, thought it was funny when USC offered that 8th grade QB a scholly a few years back. Bet now the bama fans think its another smart move by the illustrious omnipotent one.

The only possible plus I can see in this early of an offer would be that the kid now knows that college is possible and could work on making sure that his grades are good enough to qualify, or can work hard to graduate early. Either way he would be better prepared to handle the RIGORS(thanks flashcam) of being a true student athlete in college.
