Funny how the Notre Dame AD runs to a podium to defend Te'o as "the perfect mark" in being duped in an elaborate con. But he is interestingly silent about allowing a current football player, accused of raping a coed, to remain on the team and compete. That alleged victim later committed suicide. Makes ou wonder what else squeaky-clean Notre Dame is hiding!

I cared about as much about Notre Dame as I did about Bama this year. I never even heard the story until I overheard a guy talking about it yesterday.

People lie and they live in dream worlds. Something about that reeks of Penn State when a university covers so blatantly for a star football guy.

Personally, I'm sick of hearing about Manti Te'o and his girlfriend or lackthereof. I could not care any less about the situation and I'm ready for the story to die. I just don't care. If the media wants to talk about someone being duped, they should talk about the Auburn fans and the football season of 2012....

I'm really proud of the men's and women's teams. They did play with heart and determination. Now if GM can get the football team to play with such heart and determination.....

On the basketball front, I don't listen to loses, I listen to wins. When I hear wins speaking consistently then my ears will perk up.

The Teo, Newton, and Honey Badger stories are exactly why I appreciate the work you and Brian do. Thank you for being reporters. Journalism today has turned into telling people what they should think (whether in sports, politics, etc.) rather than reporting facts and letting others form an opinion of their own. (I won't mention any names, but one in sports that rhymes with Devin Starbinski comes to minds.) I hope the trend of producing propaganda over true reporting is not being taught in journalism schools, but it seems to be an ever-increasing trend to be by chance.
