I sit here a man humble. I have spent more days away from my wife and family, championing the cause of this country, than any man should. I think to my brothers who never made the plane home and I wish that for one minute I could give their families the comfort one moment of their presence could give. I cannot,and that is something that every veteran lives with everyday. I can say this, I will live my life like I believe that my brothers would have wished me to live, every day, as much as I am physically and mentally able. They deserve that. Merry Christmas to you all and please don't forget those who do not have the pleasure to hug their loved ones on this great holiday. WDE!!!

As I was walking through our kitchen my wife said to me as she was wrapping Christmas presents, " you know Mary wrap the very first Christmas present"...a lump came into my throat, and my eyes teared up...I had never thought about that before.
Christ is truly the greatest gift ever wrapped!

WOW....That REALLY puts things into perspective and I too have never thought of that scenario/clich before....Just How fitting is that statement in this day and time , that we so easily forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas......
