Phillip, a player told me last night that the team was told that a new system is being considered where all Freshmen and Sophomores would live in the dorms, period. Then, Juniors and Seniors could request to live off campus but would have to be approved by the parents and coaching staff and would have to maintain a specific GPA. There would also be a one strike rule and if a player broke a rule, no matter what the rule is, they would be back in the dorms. However, they would be able to request to move off campus at the beginning of the next academic year. I don't know how likely this system is to being put in place but it would certainly be a huge step in the right direction.
