These kids bring 99% of this stuff down on themselves. Do you know how many coaches a kid has to let in his house? How many coaches or recruiting services he has to talk to, ever? How many visits he has to take? The answer is Zero! He could quietly go visit wherever he wanted. Carl Lawson did it with class and dignity, but he didn't have to talk as much as he did IF HE DIDN'T WANT TO! Reuben brought this upon himself, letting himself get caught up in the slimy that is pooper! These kids are old enough to be killed in war, but to young to face a camera? Ha, lets get real for just a minute!

Ummm, sir.....Rueben WANTS this attention. He obviously CRAVES it. You don't have to get on TV WITH YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY and announce what you are going to do. You could be like Carl Lawson and quietly go about your business. Those two are polar opposites. One is happy being a 17 year old football player, the other wants to be a media hound.
I don't know if Rueben is a nice kid or a bad kid, but he has made some very poor choices and making a spectacle of his recruiting is one of them. Reuben is on the take, guaranteed, you don't go out to San Diego State and Washington for official visits unless you are just out for a joy ride, and thats what he was doing. He and his family are looking for people to "take care of them"...he said it himself, he DOESN'T HAVE TO OFFER THAT INFORMATION UP, but I don't think he realizes what is TRULY going on, and he certainly doesn't understand the ramifications of his actions. This kid may grow into a great star, but from what I've seen he is trouble waiting to happen.
