I have an idea that fits in with this thread. We should wear throwback Jerseys based on the picture below from 1913 but with old school lettering/numbering (white for home, blue for away), no shoulder numbers but instead put the tv numbers on the side of the helmet with a single AU logo on the front or back. A solid white helmet with blue numbering on the side and 2 navy stripes separated by a single orange stripe running from front to back on the crown. The jerseys should be solid navy with burnt orange (rugby) stripes on the sleeve or undershirt. Auburn would be in small white letters above the chest number. We should keep our current pants concept but with the stripes all the way down the leg, and the stripes should lose the white stripe that divides the blue and orange. The blue and the white should be exactly reversed on the home and away jerseys but the pants remain the same. The best part is that it will coincide with the 100 year anniversary of AU's first national championship team (1913) and the return of a solid defense to the plains. What do you all think?
