Ok folks is this wrong ?

A friend asked me where he could get a blue and orange state flag. He wants to fly it while tailgating etc. I found a place he can order one but some other folks say this wrong to drag the state flag in to the AU/updyke fight. Would you fly one?

I've got a Georgia Southern/State of Georgia flag. Typical of the Georgia flag, but instead of the state seal it has Georgia Southern's "academic logo" (long story) of the eagle head in a circle. I wouldn't think it's wrong at all, personally. It's pride in state and school, not dragging it into the Auburn/Alabama rivalry.

That's silly. Of course it is ok. A lot more people don't fight then do over all this stuff. The ones that do however, get the stage. Most people are normal and understand IT'S JUST A GAME. More people should be proud of the football heritage as a collective whole in this state then currently are. Auburn is part of what the state of Alabama represents. Putting a unique spin on it does not take away from your pride as either Auburn fan or Alabamian.

Im a student and know several others that have orange and blue state flags hanging in their apartments around town. They're pretty cool. I don't see a problem with it, just state pride and probably also pride that we don't go to the other big school in the state. WDE.
