  • Get a Toyota Highlander since you obviously already know the longevity of Toyotas, or wait a couple of months until the 2013 Rav4 comes out..its pretty awesome. No more spare tire on the back of it. You simply cannot beat a Toyota for holding their value..unless its a Honda! After driving Camrys for years, I bought a 2010 Highlander brand new. Best money I have ever spent.

I'm on the search for a new one, my 97 camry is on its last legs and I don't want to drive my truck all the time (drinks gas more quickly than an alabama fan can spell saban) any suggestions, I'm thinking small suv. I trust you guys.

I had a Jeep Cherokee. You might as well drive your truck. I got about 15 mpg.

would also love anyone's reviews (previous owners or present) on jeep wranglers and other jeeps.

I currently drive a 2008 4wd Jeep grand Cherokee. I absolutely hate it.

I had a 2007 Highlander and it had a ton of problems. I traded it in just to get rid of it. I picked it up with 12miles so I knew the history. Toyota had a bad run and I was in the middle of it. We also had a Prius that was a Pepsi company car... Which we hated. Pepsi had so many problems they switched from it to an Equinox as their default fleet car.

Take a large sample on the car data bc you will always have outliers in your data pool. I will never buy a Toyota or Lexus again after the Highlander and Prius but people swear by them. I would avoid those cars from at least 2006 till 2010 or so. I don't know how they are beyond that.
