The Bodda Getta

Teriyaki. Minced garlic , powdered garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder

It's simple, but I really enjoy it.

1 part maple syrup
3 parts Italian dressing (not creamy type)e
4 parts wustershire
1 capful garlic salt per quart made
1 capful pepper per quart made

Put into ziplock bag in this order:

Maple syrup
Garlic salt
Pepper
Italian
WS

Shake well and marinate at room temp exactly 1 hour prior to grilling. Flip steaks over at 30 minute mark. Works best on charcoal grill. Italian will cause flame ups - watch close

You can marinate a day or a couple of hours ahea

1 cup olive
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
3 rib-eye steaks

1 tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
Combine oil, sliced onion, garlic powder and 1 tablespoon black pepper in 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Add steaks to marinade Spoon half of sliced onion evenly over steaks.

Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler. Remove steaks from marinade. Combine paprika, cayenne, salt, white pepper and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper in small bowl. Sprinkle each side of each steak with 1 teaspoon spice mixture. Grill or broil steaks until cooked through, about 8 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Rub with olive oil, sea salt and cracked pepper...bring to room temp before placing on a hot grill.

Meat is to be tasted when ingested.... Covering up the taste of a good steak with marinade is like putting a bag over the head of the prom queen.at least that's what my teachers told me.

Marinades are for pork, chicken and sometimes ribs.

Lot of great sounding ideas! I too am posting so it will be easier to find later on. Many of those ideas sound quite tasty! I had a roommate in auburn that used cherry coke one time - I will get a hold of him sometime soon and try and post what/how he did it.

Dale's is def one of my favorites but I love trying new ways and love grilling period.

I have found that mixing approx. 1 part worcestershire,2 parts Dales, and 4 parts Coke is pretty tasty.

The coke gives a hint of sweet flavor and helps to keep the salt from the Dales from being too over powering.

Let them get room temp. Then rub olive oil on them. Use your favorite seasoning and rub both sides. I like Montreal steak, southern flavor charbroil, or kc masterpiece steak seasoning. You will get great flavor with any. Liquid marinade gets the meat too salty. They key is a red hot flame and room temp meat. The rest is personal preference
