OT: Child Custody Lawyers in Huntsville

  • Can anyone reccomend a very good child custody lawyer in Huntsville? A very good friend of mine just went thru a bitter divorce and his ex-wife is now trying to gain full custody of their child. (I have no children for those that think a "friend" = me).
    I have known the father my entire life and know that he is a good dad. The father went thru a severe bout of depression after the divorce and is finally putting his life back together. He just found a job after being unemployed for a while after the divorce and is finally in a good place personally. I would hate to see him fall back into the depression if she is successful in taking his daughter away.

    If anyone could reccomend a good child custody lawyer in Huntsville please PM the info to me. It would be greatly appriciated.

    After having been thru this personally and given his problems with depression, I recommend a good Christian counselor as much as a good lawyer. Our legal system is awful. I've been thru hell and back and my faith, the book How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie, and my business were the only things that kept me sane. My lawyer slow to return calls certainly did not help.

    One thing I would add is find a lawyer that has been thru this personally.
