So I recently found out I am being transferred to Bowling Green for work... So... Anyone from that area? Know any good places to go, live and eat? I've only been there twice (2 interviews) and obviously haven't had much time to really check out the city.
I am coming from 10+ years in Auburn, and in my few trips I can tell it's got the college town feel, which is nice. But need some places to go that aren't 'college' bars, as I am 30 now.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated and anyone who lives around the area and want's someone to hang out with for a while and show the BG ropes, let me know. TIA.

I live about 90 minutes north of BG in Louisville. You'll be within driving distance (2hrs) of both Nashville and Louisville. So some nice cities to go see concerts in, sporting events, etc. My coworker's daughter lived there for quite some time and taught at WKU. So at least you can go see some good basketball! And can watch Petrino coach a bit of football.
I'll do some digging around and see if I can find out the more desirable areas to live in for ya.

OT: Bowling Green, KY...?
