OL Shon Coleman has been cleared and practiced Wednesday

NOW THATS SOMETHING TO GET BEHIND....
To say teh very least I am emotionaly excited about this news..And so proud of this young man and our amazing head coach. Shon...Even if you had never played a game you would be one of my all time fave Tigers. You are an inspiration to all that know your story. and JUST WOW!!!
To our head coach Gene Chizik...I dont know if I have ever seen a coach with more understanding and just plain heart and soul as him. To keep that scholly and keep Shon on it in this day and age of whathave you done for ME. He showed true moral standards that tell me he will never be in a situation like the one a former OC at AU is going through right now.
The face of our program is a man of true character....And I believe in him and always will...
WAR DAMN EAGLE SHON!!!! WAR DAMN EAGLE GENE!!!
How big of an ovation is he going to get this SAt??? IT could be bigger than the natty celebration!!

Bryan, what's his scholarship situation? His name hasn't appeared on rosters that have been posted on this site. If he's cleared to practice, does that mean he's eligible to play? Or is there another hurdle to clear? Thx.

Excellent point about Chizik keeping him around. You-know-who in this state probably would have dropped him because he was tying up a scholarship that someone with out cancer might need!
