Whether you think you can, or you can't, you are probably right
Auburn '99, Beta Zeta of Theta Xi
Personally, I HATE to hear we're going to a Pro-Set formatted scheme. While some of you old school people may like it, and some of you new school people don't think the spread can work in the SEC, that kind of transition is going to be painful for Auburn. I wish people would understand, Auburn does not have the kind of athletes needed to run the Power-I formation. The Pro-Set is more feasible, but still not the ideal offense for the kind of players Malzahn recruited for two years. You will witness horrible growing pains if we really do that kind of shift on offense. I sincerely hope this is not the case, because if it is, we are mostly likely going to see our offense struggle for at least two years if not three.
Sparkey, That is why we will go multiple. Kind of like the version of the spread NFL teams run and Oklahoma runs. We won't be defined as being a pro style or spread team. We will go under center and out of the gun.
