I'm thinking somebody just sold another Auburn baseball cap!

Bryan - I haven't looked this up in Rivals or another similar site, but this year in recruiting I have notice a huge difference in rankings from 247 to ESPN. For example Zeke Pike is a 5 star here as well as Ricky park being a big 4 star not to mention the best at his position. However, they didn't even make the ESPNU 150 on ESPN.com. I can understand small differences in cases like Joshua Holsey and Caleb Peterson being 3 stars here while they are high 4 stars and in the ESPNU 150 on ESPN.com. Any idea on the big differences this year? It seems a littl unusual even for the first round of evaluations.

Well look at last years rankings. Scout has Auburn number 1, and bama at number 8. Rivals has bama number 1, and Auburn at number 7. While ESPNU has Auburn at 3 and bama at 2. Strange....

That's true. First off Rivals is run by bamers so I don't pay to much attention to them. Also, class ranking are a little different that individual player ratings. Different places are going to evaluate how a class fits the needs of a team differently, even though the discrepancies are pretty extreme. I just haven't seen such dramatic differences in recruiting sites before where one has a player not only rated well, but one of the best at their position - while another one doesn't even have them listed! Craziness.

I trust out coaches though and if this is who they want then there is good reason for it. I love that we're not getting what's left over out there and that this staff is not afraid to go after the best of the best instead of settling for "who they think they stand a good chance of getting" like the previous staff.

I woke up at 330 this morning took a deep breath, after taking my first drink of coffee and thought, today is going to be a great day.
