Was just curious was out having a few drinks with the wife and friends last night and a friend told me that one of auburns big boosters (the guy that is over regions bank) tht the fbi had wire taps on his phone discussing the sum of 200K plus. i thought the wins were secure since they did clear him to play and never heard them say he wasnt inelgible after that. probably rumors but you know i like to come ask sources who are alot closer to the situation you know. but thanks for the thoughts and the info War Eagle

I'm no expert on FBI investigations, but if I'm in charge of one and I have an agent running his mouth off in Bars. You can finish that statement on your own can't you. I've heard the same story spun 100 ways. God help America if the FBI is spending hundreds of hours and millions of dollars chasing down NCAA violations. (which is not under their jurisdiction by the way) Next time you hear this do what I do. Take the tin foil out, put it over your head and start ducking the little invisible helicopters. The Newton investigation.......that is why so many of our coaches left this season when they had the chance.
Everybody knows the bamer's, like the ones who call finebum, know more about all of this than our coaches do.
Clay Travis, Evans, Thammel and Shane from Center Point are they most credible people still talking about all of this, what does that tell you?
The NCAA taking our NC back.....that is why we did so bad in recruiting this year.
All the high school coaches know about this and advised their players to stay away from us.
These people, 95% bamers, really need to get over the fact that we are their worst nightmare and we are not going away.

Ok so by starting this post it looks like i pissed some people off. I wanna clear it up b/c i know this is a sore subject for all auburn fans including me. by starting this post i was just wanting to get input and facts from what i was told by a friend thats it. There are no bammers posting this at all. So i apologize for ruffling feathers this morning. hope my apologies are accepted.

You started a dumb post. You're either very naive or a turd/bammer. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I'll assume you're naive.

_ There is no "Newton investigation". NCAA cleared him instantly to continue playing and have release multiple statements. They never announce when any investigation is complete, but they certainly cleared Cam. Alabama is the only D1 school in the state that's on probation, for what it's worth.

_ Nothing's going to happen with our SEC Championship, our National Championship, or Cam's Heisman Trophy. Only delusional bammers think this way.. hmmm.

_ You have been hiding under a rock for a year if you haven't heard any of the rumors about FBI wiretaps, etc. My guess is that you certainly have heard them and further, that you spend most of your time spreading them - like in this post.

Again, I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but as I re-read your posts in this thread, it is a stretch to a sane (Auburn) person's common sense to assume pure naivete or even stupidity. No, I'm pretty sure it's worse than that....bammer.

I see your points and my apologies. I am a paying member and am a die hard aubrun fan. I just joined the site. I followed for a few weeks before i joined and liked what i seen. If i had of known this was a topic of discussion before trust me i wouldnt have posted it. i hope you guys reform you opinion of me b/c i assure you i am not a bammer.

yes they do ignore the facts.. I am currently living in GA so i dont have to much contact with bammers i have to deal with the dawgs more than bammers which isnt much better. This site will be my best friend in a few months when i move to england with the air force.
