I was looking at a few things that make me extremely excited about this upcoming season. Sinces Tubs left the planes, our defense has not been any better than mid 50's in national rank. So we hire a very decorated D-coordinator, who was very flat as far as HC, and our offense was carrying the team. So it goes to show how important Gus was the GC's success in the first 3 years.

His hiring top notch D coaches period is the right move. Every person on Defense he has hired has a proven track record in the SEC, we will score points, Gus has shown he can do that, we need turnovers & solid defense.

Last since Saban has been hired he has 13 losses at UAT. in his first season he had 6 losses, 7 losses since. In those 7 losses, Saban has lost to 5 forms of the spread offense (Texas A&M, USC, Auburn, Utah, & Florida) & 2 to LSU. I honestly, think we made the right hire to get back in the hunt for years to come. WDE! We will surprise some people this year, I can smell it.
