The line that has gotten me the most jobs is this.....

Quality of life and to better provide my family the life I envision for them. (which means MORE MONEY!!)

Honesty is the best way to get the job. Money is the reason we all work. Dont be afraid to use that. I employ many managers and Chefs.....We dont do this stuff for just the fun of it. MONEY pays the bills. So dont be afraid be honest. It gets you much further.

I'm ready to move up the ladder to the next step. I want to build my skill set and be rewarded for those advances. A new job brings new challenges and responsibilities and that is how I will grow as a person both for myself and for my family.

I'm in HR and the biggest point you want to make is basically the John F. Kennedy quote "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." You want to make it seem like the company needs you in order to proceed with the changing culture of the business world. You have to do this while being genuine. You of course say you are making the move because you want a different kind of challenge in your line of work, but you also feel like the company would not only benefit you and your career, but the company making the decision to hire you will further their progress as well.
