Chizik? Vangorder? Martinez? Loeffler? Trooper? Luper?
I wish that our guys would write more about how many players our coaches have prepared for their NFL careers....Martinez has had about '14' draft picks over the last 10-yrs-or-so....is that right? Every few days, the PR runs something about how bammer is an NFL farm program...and I know stuff like that weighs on these kids in recruiting. As usual, it's done with in a very-arrogant way, which we've come to expect from anything associated with that program..even their writers. I know that our guys can do it objectively and come up with some good press on the successes of players that played college ball for our staff. Other than on Auburn boards, little-to-nothing has been mentioned about all of the QB's that Loeffler has placed in the NFL. Nothing has been wrote about the aforementioned # that CWM has accomplished. What about Vangorder? Chizik?....and so on.....anyone have those #'s?
Im sure our guys will get it done for you. But to play a quick devil advocate here. You never hear people talk about Kirby Smart or McElwain or any other coordinators from bam. Its all praise to saban. I would bet my season tickets that 2 years from now that the media mentions Chizik a little more in the convo. The truth is Chizik hasnt been here long enough to get his players in. Oh and one other thing I can guarentee about Chizik is that he will make sure his coordinators get credit. I agree that coordinators are major reason why these kids get in NFL but media just giving saban credit, if they start writing articles elsewhere about OC or DC at bama then ill be griping with you. OH and lastly im SURE that these coaches talk to these kids and say "man you remind me of (so and so) that I coached at (so and so) and look he has pretty good career on and off the field" SO these kids know about these corrdinators resume, dont worry there
