NCAA on Campus for Secondary Violations

Last night on Mike Raita's "The Zone" Doug Segrest stated that the NCAA does not come on campus for secondary violations. Is this a true statement?

PF has accused Trooper of everything from providing alcohol, drugs, and prostitutes to recruits. I guess the NCAA visits AU to party. The only thing I know for sure about Trooper is the bammers want him gone.

The ncaa comes on campus for "no violations" as in the case of Cam Newton. They came investigating the possibility of serious violations, not "no violations." The fact that they found "no violations" does not mean that they were not looking for evidence of "major violations."

Realize this came across wrong. I am just sick of bad information. Nobody challenges anything. It is a perpetual "bring Auburn down" propaganda machine in this part of the state. I have had to stop watching the news, quit reading the newspaper, and stop watching all sports reporting. That's why I'm on this board now. I can't get any good information. Season ticket holder since 1971, Alum. All my family went to Auburn.
I'm mad because anybody who wants to take a shot at us, does it, and gets cheered by the Bama fans.
Frustration.
Just asking a question. Thanks for your insight.
