My guess is, probably because it is still illegal, in most places. JMO. I personally, don't think it gives players any advantage, obviously.

WOW! 5ng/ML is 1/3 the amount that triggers a positive in a standard gas chromatograph blood test you would take for a high liability job and 1/10 the amount required for a positive result on a piss test. That is truly insane. If we as a society will let a bus driver for an elementary school or a soldier, or a physician have up to 14ng/ml without suffering negative consequences, I think we can all agree this is way beyond stupid. I know they said they want to lower the punishments but seriously, 2nd hand can give you higher levels than they are testing for with these new standards. What a waste of time and potentially of good athletes. When are we as a society going to realize that you have no right to control what someone else does with their body, PERIOD? The NCAA has really lost their f***ing mind. First it’s the stupid new recruiting rules and now this.
