I agree on both counts. He has given all he has and could see the writing on the wall, that the Gus Bus wants a very mobile QB. It would seem that he was going to be in the very back of that bus, 4th choice. Best Wishes, going forward, Clint.

Clint did not give it up because he thought he would be back up. He has just give everything he had. He loves Auburn but just feels like its time to move on.

Its hard to see how a guy would want to give up on Auburn football. It seems he could have played on special teams if he wanted to get on the field.
Either way, I wish him the best.

People get burnt out on things all the time. Every year 1000s of kids quit sports every year due to burning out.
