Clint has had a tough road. Since the decision came after his meeting with Lashlee, is it safe to speculate he felt he wasn't going to fit into the plans? I certainly wish him well and appreciate his commitment to Auburn.

Looked like Clint offered his best for AU when he started and was very competitive in the quarterback races of the last three years. A backup quarterback contributes more than meets the eye even with the 2010 team. Thank you Clint for your contributions of the last three years.

As I posted on an unpaid site with some AU friends, I really hate it has come to this. I had learned to think a lot of the young man. He deserved a better fate than was made possible under what I now call disfunction junction or "the Chizik Melodrama'. I wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors and am proud that he is still an Auburn Man. Thanks Clint, it wasn't all bad, just unfortunate. Good luck young man!

Sounds a lot like the Barrett Trotter situation but with less talent. Love Clint to death and I am glad he is staying in Auburn but let's face it, He wasn't going to play in any way so it's a wasted scholarship that we need.
