I have to remember we are dealing with a different type of kid at this time. They didn't grow up dreaming of playing college football at Auburn and being grounded in what it means to be an Auburn man. It is obvious they don't really understand the whole picture when their final choices often come down to Auburn and the school across the State. If you have any understanding of the Auburn Family, the Auburn Creed, and the Auburn way of life, you couldn't possibly consider going to the other school. They are the antithesis of what Auburn stands for. Not only that, but CGC is 180 degrees from little nicky. So, we just have to deal with young people that are still trying to find their way through what has to be a very daunting process for them. There are coaches, recruiters, friends, and family that will lie to them, threaten them, beg them, and try who knows what other tactics to manipulate them to a decision. And frankly, while I am concerned about their choice, they are going to decide what they decide. All I can do is continue to show my Auburn Spirit and do all I can to support CGC, the coaching staff, and Auburn.
