Like the JUCO strategy for short-term needs. Do not like it as an overall strategy. I think Gus is looking to fill holes that already exist and holes that may be created due to "Processing" some out the door. With that said...high school route is best to build a long-term, viable program.

I like that we are willing to look at all these JUCO guys for immediate help. Even we are lucky enough to hold on to these highly regarded recruits this may give them the time to develop. Thanks for the update Bryan

Ignoring the Juco ranks by the previous staff was a mistake and part of that staff's down fall IMO.

There is room every single season for some well placed JUCO recruits. You don't want to build a program off of them of course, but you can probably get three or four every year and it will pay huge dividends. I see no reason for the continued bias against JUCO recruits. It is perfectly fine to sign 3-5 even every season in my opinion. That's not building your program off of them. That's just grabbing some kids who have already produced and you're still going to be taking 20 others usually.
