I want the team to be happy,but i feel that the self entitlement of the team is still there. Meaning players that were recruited by Gus and company (fraizer,reed,etc) want work as hard as they would with a totally new coach. Also feel like Gus is a good man, but i do have a few questions. Why did Gus take in Dyer knowing his issues at Auburn and He did recruit Zeke Pike and the 3 Auburn bandits. I know we don't have a clue how this will turn out but Gus please do me a few favors. Teach the young men how to be GREAT men on and off the field. Chew a$$ when it needs to be Chewed, Be fair to all players Walk-on's all the way to 5 stars. Don't just play them because someone rated them as 5 stars.

I ready to see an unencumbered Gus Malzhan offense in it's truest form at Auburn. Buckle your seat belts and hang on for the ride. Those great defenses better be able to score a lot of points. Saban will pull his hair because he will never get sub in an Iron Bowl again.

Coach Malzahn was not my first choice, but we can move forward now, family...it's going to be fine. Especially if we'll all get behind Coach Malzahn, the assistant coaches, and players, to give them the support they need.

Exactly.. Without Cam he never did anything against ark, Lsu, bammer, ga. Like you said 8 wins every year. I predict he'll be gone in three years because he will not beat ga or bammer. I hope I'm wrong but his offense has never done anything against the top schools in this conf. Just like Clemson continuously gets shut down on offense against uscE. It will be hard for him to get a descent D coord in here also with this offense.

Gus will be very good, not great. Unless, he hires a great DC. That's what it will take. There was no search committee necessary for this. Jacobs hired who he wanted in the end whether the search committee feels it made the hire or not. This is just par for the course with Jay Jacobs. Now, Gus will do very good. But, would you people please realize that the real root of our problems in Auburn's athletic department is Jay Jacobs.
