The relationship each position coach has with his players and the respect he demands is more important than his specific coaching skills.
You or I could run them through the drills and have them lined up right. It has to be a coach the boys love, respect and want to give everything for. There has to be a little fear mixed in there too.

? For PM. What about a Special Teams coach. I thought Gus let a great one leave from previous staff. Can remember Sanders,etc setting tone in 2010 will great ST play.

In the NFL the players make more than the coaches, and it still works out. Leadership from the head coach is the key. Remember how we all raved over Auburn's staff 2 or 3 years ago? Did they just suddenly forget how to coach? Truthfully, none of us know about Coach Malzahn's leadership skills. We can read all this stuff every day, but we won't know a thing until the team takes the field next fall. There is much work to do between now and then. We will know then if there is really a change at Auburn. I like Coach Malzahn. He'll get his chance, and if he can't do it, Auburn will hire someone else. Hope he does well for himself and Auburn.
