It is good to see people beginning to realize that Gus is a great coach and would be a great hire. In case it seems like I've said just about everybody listed is a great coach, then you'd be right. I'm actually very excited right now. I'm not a major Patterson fan he just doesn't excite me that much. Yet, he is big time and I would fully support him. For that matter, though I may have been critical of Petrino, I'll still support Auburn with Petrino. I think it dumb to not support your institution if it gives Petrino a shot. My fear is that he's already been given the job. I've not been this excited about Auburn football since January 2011. I think this is the proper direction for Auburn to move. Me personally, I'd honestly like to see somebody like Strong or Smart or Patterson the most. Why? I most want somebody not connected to Auburn. That would prove more to me than anything else that Auburn is getting away from it keeping only Auburn connected people.
