I've always been in the middle with Chiz. I didn't want to jump off Haley when he was hired; I didn't go gaga for him after 2010. His dumbest coaching moment was faking a punt against Ball State up 3 TDs in 09 and getting McCalleb hurt. (our most explosive player that year). That was Mike Shulaesk. But his holding the team together in 2010, when sportswriters were openly saying that any championship would later be stripped, was brilliant I thought. Last year, we did great to win 8 games with the worst D in school history, but we should never lose 45-7 to Ga. and we should never lose by 4 TDs on our home field to UAT. So, I'm still in the middle. This year, with a quarter of the season gone, is a train wreck at this point but who knows how it ends. I do think he needs 5/6 wins to get his fifth year.
