Low Picks Auburn - Big

  • Auburn 48, Louisiana-Monroe 10: The Tigers have had two tough games in a row at home, coming from behind both times and flexing their muscles in the second half. They get a tune-up game this week, their fourth home game of the season, and shouldn’t need to go into the second half to pull this one out. The real goal may be keeping quarterback Cameron Newton’s uniform clean. He’s already carried the ball 75 times this season. Maybe this is the game the Tigers get to rest most of their regulars in the second half.

  • After two weeks picking against Auburn he feels good taking us against ULM? You have to respect his willingness to go out on a limb...

I think he picked us to win against Miss State, but picked against us for Clemson (if memory serves me correctly) and USCe. All very close games, so it is not as if they were silly or absurd picks, Lou Holth style. Still, it's a little fun to remember when they were wrong going against you, and quickly forget when they're right going against you. :)

  • The only think funnier than Low trying to pick SEC games is when he does one of his video blog posts. He works for the most technologically advanced of all the news networks on television, and he holds up handwritten signs on clipboards in his dark office.

He definitely has a face for a writer...

  • Chris Low's as stupid as Schlabach. But should be right this time. Throw Barnhart in there too, the whole bunch is so in "AWE" of Saban and Myer and married to Richt they can't talk about anything else. My fondest wish this year is for UGA to finish 4-8, see UF in Shreveport and Bammer in El Paso
