the 89 IB was so loud that there was an oxygen shortage in the stadium. I've never heard of anything as loud for as long. My ears rang for days.
my five loudest personal moments in JHS.
Calvin Jackson vs UF in '93. I still get chills at the pictures of people jumping up and down in the stands as he goes 100!
Nix to Sanders in '93. Despair to joy in one play.
Slack to Wasden vs UF .... deafening and that tough little kid was one of my favorites.
Whoever made the final interception return vs LSU in '94. One of the most remarkable games that I've ever witnessed. 'Can you say DEEfense, Auburn'? Actually, and I'm ashamed to admit that I cannot remember his name but the guy that intercepted the first one made a herculean effort to get the ball into the endzone, was the guy who gave us a chance because we couldn't make a yard that day on offense if we needed it.
Somebody else mentioned this earlier. I think it was the late 70s when we last came out in the orange unis vs UGA. Total shock to everyone in the stadium... My god they were ugly but we'd never seen our team in that color before.
Ricky Sutton's sack of Florida State's Casey Weldon on 4th down in a tie game with about a minute to go in 1990. Weldon stumbled 15 yards backwards and fell down. A few plays later, Auburn's Jim Von Wyl kicked the game winner. The stadium almost came down on that sack.

In the "Interception Game," the first pick six was by Ken Alvis, who was kicked off the team within the next year, and finished up at Troy. The second pick six was by Fred Smith, and the third was by Brian Robinson. I have that game memorized I've seen it on SportSouth classics so many times!
This is what it looks like when a man makes heaven
come out of his six string
2004 Auburn VS LSU when Coutney Taylor caught the fourth down pass. Crowd had been quiet all day then suddenly blew my ears out.
2001 against #1 Florida when Duval hit the winning field goal

I absolutely remember having Orange and Blue Shaker snot. It was AUsome!
I'm going with the 1993 Florida game, and the 93 Iron Bowl.
I wasn't there last week, but the sound absolutely came through the surround sound speakers,
letting outsiders know that Jordan-Hare is a helluva place to play.
