OMG....that would crush lil coach if Auburn had a 4-star QB that didn't count towards FB scholly # bc he was on a BB scholly. Please, Lord, let that happen.

I would much rather him count as a football scholarship than a basketball scholarship. Basketball has a very limited # of scholarships available. We didn't even use all of our football scholarships this year.

Gonna meet the wife/kids? I'd say that's a pretty-good friendship already. I'd be shocked it this kid didn't end up wearing orange/blue! As for the basketball/football scholly thing, I'm more interested in seeing this kid focus on football. If he wants to try out for basketball, so be it. He's being recruited by our staff as a QB, so let's sign him as a QB. We don't need to twist the #'s from one sport to another to help us. If it could be done, spanky would have already abused it so much so that a rule change would be imminent. But it cannot....come on and play QB, Jeremy! WAR EAGLE!
