Finally had a good heated discussion with valid points on both side of the issue and now it's locked. I guess I am just way out on a limb and am one of the few that like a good debate. Oh well.

Idiot is an offensive term. It's as simple as that. No need to put out definitions or anything. If I go up to a stranger on the street and say you're an idiot I doubt they would smile and say "It's nice to meet you".

If you think that a poster (any poster) could be offended by some words then try to refrain from them. This isn't the forum for it. There are many others that are a little loose with that on this network but not on this board.
