I don't believe him. He was flirting with Bama many times and long before Trooper was gone. I think Trooper has used them to build his name up regardless so he can find work. He wants it known when he is recruiting that is the talent he will bring your school. Dee Liner was flipping eventually even had Trooper stayed...imo

Doesn't look like anybody wants to hire Trooper. He was quoted about a week ago saying that he was not gonna be in a hurry leaving Auburn town. He said he's still being paid his salary, which will go for another year and a half. He plans to enjoy watching his daughter play basketball at Auburn High and his son play football.

He's not in a hurry because probably nobody has offered him a job. And that means trouble for AU, as long as he's around. He definitely cost AU at least two big recruits.

What he has undoubtedly done in smearing AU and sending two to uat is unethical in the coaching profession. If he's on somebody else's staff, then he can blackball all he wants, but while he's being paid by AU and not working, he shouldn't get away with sending recruits to other schools.
