Let's talk Jordan Wilkins

I've been fortunate enough to see Jordan twice at camps in person. That's most likely more than anyone else since one was a Rivals.com camp -- and no other media was allowed.
Over the next half hour or so, I'll be taking questions about Jordan and his ability.
Please, ask away ... If crickets start chirping my feelings definitely will be hurt

Do you think Jordan's running style fits what Auburn wants to do offensively? Also, what are his measurements?

Off the top of my head, nobody comes to mind. But I'm blanking out. Total freeze
Here's why it's hard to find a comparison: He's a big back, but also has legit 4.5 speed and great cutting ability. Can be a tough inside runner, or a home run threat on the edge.
Not many guys like that.

What is the biggest knock on JW? I'm not exactly sure what he is ranked but a RB that is 6-1 212lbs that is "very fast" would, in my mind, be a top 100 player for sure.

Absolutely, I do ...
He's 6-1, 200.
To recap: Fast. Can get around the edge, or burst through a gap. Big. Can get you the tough yards. Shifty. Also can catch the ball extremely well out of the backfield.
Any O.C. would love to have a guy who can do so many things.
Here's the thing: He's an every down back. No need to change personnel when you have someone like that.
You can also put him out at WR on 3rd down.

Keith, you seem to really like Jordan. Thanks for taking the time to give us some first-hand knowledge. Your opinion and analysis of him is sure to add to the excitement and anticipation of having him play for AU.
Do you think he is currently evaluated in the right spot or do you believe he moves up or down after his senior year?

A lot of people in this business simply haven't seen him in person and Nobody has really seen him play in person. Even me -- I've seen him at Ole Miss Camp and at a Rivals camp.
Competition isn't great. So I think people may be a little hesitant to go crazy over him. But look at the offers. Impressive.
I really just think people need to see more of him. And as I said, getting into a postseason All-Star game could certainly help. Best v. Best ... in pads.

Similar yes. But ...
I think TJ may just be a little bit bigger. I think at this stage TJ also was more of a punishing runner. Also, while Jordan has shown in camps he can catch, TJ was a phenomenal receiver in games. Both fast, but slight edge also to TJ in total athleticism.
IMO, TJ was special. But Jordan is very very good. And he is determined to get better and better. Not content with anything.
