Please dont flame me, I have an honest question here. I read how he is a QB guru and that the lack of a lot of OC experience is made up for in his ability to turn a QB around yet I keep reading that the reason they threw the ball so little at Temple is due to the fact they didn't have a QB that could throw the ball. I am not trying to start anything negative but this is a legitimate concern for me. Thanks is advance for any friendly answers

Because your stud RB gives you the best chance to win. Despite your ego of being a great QB teacher, you like winning more, so you hand the ball off. An offensive coordinator wouldn't get very far without that mentality. Despite the best teacher in the world, you can't teach talent. Period.
The saying goes, "You can make a great QB better but you can't make a poor QB great."
Also.......People keep knocking him because Tebow couldn't throw? He couldn't throw in the NFL guys, not college. In college he did quite well. Obviously, the NFL is a different character. Many QB's through the history of time were great college guys and never did much in the league. Sometimes, it doesn't translate. To Tebow's defense however, like him or hate him, he won a bunch of games this year AND pulled his team out of the toilet. Regardless of what you think of him, there is something to be said for that. This is one guy so who cares. Look at anyone else and you can see he is a great teacher of QB's.

It seems odd that a quarterback guru would be at 116 out of 120 teams in passing offense like Temple was last year. That's not going to attract the 4 and 5 star wide receivers. Also, I continue hearing that this guy recruited Kiehl Frazier when he was coaching at Florida. Who did Kiehl eventually sign with? That's right, auburn. Hopefully, he will get better in both areas. War Eagle anyway!

I believe he only worked with tebow his senior year, if I'm right don't know how much time he had to try and change his motion. But working with Brady in the offseason, with mechanics is really all I need to know about him.
