Rhett Lashlee, Gus Malzahn's offensive coordinator at Arkansas State last season, will be named offensive coordinator at Auburn and will arrive Friday.

Couldn't have worked out better for AU. He knows the CGM HUNH and we all know Gus will be all over the offense.

Hey PM, I'm sure Lashlee will be fine, but I was hoping he'd get someone with a bit more experience in this league. I was thinking he would get the guy from Arizona... who else do you think he'll bring in for other positions?

I watched the video of Russell earlier and liked what I saw. I think a young, fresh look on strength and conditioning will be a great addition.

Don't know but he's young and very personable. I expect he'll be a good recruiter.

With Gus running the offense and play-calling, he didn't need someone more experienced. Lashlee knows his offense in and out and was an assitant here with him. He's exactly what Gus wants and needs. No more.

I agree. Little surprised by this move as we could afford to get someone with more experience. Might be a tough sell to recruits.
