If Gus trusts Lashlee then I certainly do. I believe he will be a good fit for AU and his age doesn't really bother me. If he knows the offense like Gus says he does, then we should be fine. Looking forward to the season already!

The back up qbs can send the plays in. What do we need him for. Speaking of qbs I sure hope these two aren't locked in on Frazier.

This was a no brainer. He's been tutored in the biggest of games for years and years by the head coach. How could anyone know it any better? Perfect fit. I absolutely agree with everything Malzahn has done so far. If you only cut 3/4 of cancer out, it can come back with a vengeance! There shouldn't be many excuses whatsoever for our offense to click immediately next fall. He has had probably 7 new Qbs each fall in the last 7 years? The defense, on the other hand, will definitely take some time. Gonna be rough for couple years prob!

I have worked with a lot of people with a positive attitude. It becomes infectious and everyone believes they will succeed. On the other hand a negative attitude brings the team down. There is no reason to be negative at this point that the decision is made.

Look, I have no idea how good of a job Lashlee will do as OC. I know Malzahn trusts him. But he's not a kid, he's 29 years old, and he's been around. This ain't Opie Taylor running the Auburn offense. More like Batman and Robin.

Looking back, probably the biggest jump I made in my professional career (which worked pretty damn well) occured when I was 31 and that's not too far from where RL is currently.

He's a bargain. Morris making 4 times what he's making with a $6.5 million buy-out. he'll certainly have every incentive to be successful. I hope we're shelling out a lot more in coaches salaries in 3 or 4 years because of their success.

Nobody, that I see, has mentioned that the one year this offense was not successful at Auburn was the year he left to be the OC at Samford. Coincidence, I think not!
