I thought I heard PM say on the radio this afternoon that Lashlee called the plays at ASU this past season. I'm sure he called plays at Samford the year before. He may not call the plays for us next year, but this is an indication of his maturation as an offensive mind. Still believe CGM will deeply involved in game planning and probably calls a play or two next year.

In two days of being the head coach, Gus managed to do the impossible - silence the fears about our future defense. Now, here we are questioning Gus's ability to implement a guy to run his own offensive scheme. Seriously people, Gus knows this offense better than anyone and if he thinks Lashlee can coordinate it then why doubt him? I know we're coming from dark days, but let's have a little faith. The only real concern is his lack of network in the coaching world but I doubt he and Gus will have any trouble selecting the assistant coaches together. It's nice to see Auburn with a coaching staff that actually works well together. Let's enjoy it. WDE!

I dont doubt that he is smart and can do the job. I just dont see us landing any big names with an un-known. Most these 5 stars know they are going to the NFL and they want someone proven to make them better and get them there.... right now we dont have anyone who has been in the NFL. I think we will win games with him, but dont know if we will get the top tear talent that UA gets cause of the SABAN name.
