Services for Ladarious will be Friday, 1 PM in the gym at Handley High.
From what I understand, the whole thing has been paid for by the owner of Lakeside Marina in Wedowee. If you're ever in the area, stop by and give this good man some business or a thank you.
Also, in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Small Town Bank of Roanoke for Ladarious's daughter. I'm linking the bank's contact information.

How sad is it that a child is left behind in this world without its father and for something as senseless as this tragedy.
I love children and I have two of my own. I have no doubt LP loved this precious child too. I have nightmares of leaving my children before they become adults themselves. Teenage fathers have become an epidemic in our society.
Please, please, please young men, THINK! Do what's right and stop having children as teenagers. Leonard has two with two different mothers, Ladarious Phillip has a child, Eric Mack has a child, Trent Richardson has three if I am not mistaken. Grow to love yourselves and your youth before you bring children into this world.
I know not everyone will agree with me at this time for bringing this matter up. I am just crushed that three children will never know their fathers.
