After watching his mop up duty on Saturday night, its pretty easy to see why he hasn't been playing.

Calling out players by name is bush league.
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.

Yea, the officials should stop calling out the numbers of the player that commits a penalty too...

I think his point is not to beat down the player, but to simply suggest that sometimes the coaches do make reasonable decisions.
"Where is Kris Frost, what are these coaches smoking?" has been a pretty consistent theme on the board for most of the season.
I think he was just pointing out that Frost still has some work to do before he's ready to be everyone's answer to the linebacker issues we've had. He probably could have explained that a little better in his OP, but I don't think his intention is mean-spirited.

I could of worded my OP a little better. I'm not sure how AU football got to this position. Maybe it was poor evaluation by our recruiting staff. We have several highly recruited players that are not playing up to their "rankings". I'm not sure what the fix will be, but if we don't hold on to our current LB class, we are in a for the same thing next year. (minus our only decent tackler in Bates).
The two deep for this spring includes 5 scholarship LB's:
McKinzey (so)
Holland (sr)
Garrett (jr)
Frost (rs so)
Mitchell (rs fr)
Not good for the future....
