OK, I think I get it. It means that they and AU are looking for a "better fit" - it's like a friendly decision to not "go steady" - to just be in touch while pursuing other interests. Good deal then, we do need all the effective players we can garner. I too hope that Ward gets a clean bill of health from the Justice Department, for everyone (save the haters) benefit. I wanted him to be able to play better, but he just didn't fill his role at times. He had the head to run the offense, if not the physical ability. I will give Barbee the time to build the kind of team he wants, though I'd like to hear more from him about his plans. I guess I can wait until he has his "ducks in line". He does seem to be shuffling things around and working to improve.
