Eric and Petey Smith are recent examples of brothers choosing different schools. I hope that if CK chooses AU, he has better success than Petey did at UA.

Seems like the young man really has his head screwed on straight. I like him! If he were to choose us it will put us SO much further down the path for 2012. Combine him with what we've already got coming and we'll be in Great shape! Here's hoping!

I look forward to learning where Cyrus elects to go to college and play football, while he earns his degree. Obviously, he would be a solid addition to the strong class that AUBURN has built for 2011, but more important to me is to see a young man under such pressure to join one program based upon his brother's choice is taking time to step back and listen to his heart to feel where he should go next to begin the rest of his life. Best wishes to Cyrus and his family as they gather together to ponder his future.

I think the kid will honestly just go with what feels right. This bodes well for AU because UA depends on your coming there for all the b.s. they hype about NFL coaching and tradition and championships... oh wait... we got those too...

But Family seems important to him.. .and family is what AU is all about.

He seems like a great young man. If he decides to play at uat I will pull for him to stay healthy and injury free. But most of all I would like to see him struggle four times in fours years during the Iron Bowls.

If his parents didnt attend the 1st visit he's taken days before NSD then I dont see any chance he signs here.

OVs are all paid for, and the visit takes place on the weekend. Doubt his parents were busy, just sounds more like he took the visit for a fun free trip. Unless he feels like 110% he would start Day 1 here, and thats all he cares about then I dont see any way he signs here. Just my personal opinion from what I gathered from the article.

If dealing with open minds, (recruit, parents, friends, high school coaches) the recruit will come to Auburn. Why? Auburn has the other teams beat in what seems to be very, even most,important-Coaches, playing time, surrounding family dominated character, chance to play football ball at a level that could pay as much in the first year as many earn in a lifetime. Aren't these the reasons why Auburn is recruiting four and five star players?

I wouldn't say that...I think he is just pointing out that it is not a given that he will commit to Alabama just because his brother is there.
