I'll be fine if we miss out on this one. There are others that seem like more surefire options. I'm not sure what it is but I have a bad vibe about this kid. I was psyched when he committed out of nowhere but the more I've read the more I like other guys on our board.

What does this kid mean - IF Miami gets sanctions then I will go somewhere else. I say go anywhere you wish except AU. We don't need no second fiddlers on this team. I'll take a no star who wants to be at AU first and foremost without any "IF's.

We all want all the kids to love AU and come here with no qualms, but that's the point of recruiting. Coaches work hard on players to get them to come to their program no matter if they were the first choice or not. If a coach just sat back and said, "We only want players who only want to come here and no where else." then that guy would be out of a job quick. Every coach, and yes even Auburn's, go after players who are "committed" all the time because you shouldn't give up on an impressionable 18 year old kid. Give these guys a break they are 17 and 18 year old kids. I don't know about you, but I wasn't exactly a Rhodes Scholar at 17 and 18 years of age.

Also, by your logic we should've let Ricardo Louis, JaQuay Williams, and multiple others go...
