There's a good chance Barbee won't be here to coach this kid in 2 years. Coach should have signed more point guards before now. All those defections and no point guard are putting a hurt on this team. We need a couple of options next year, not 2 years from now. What if the one signee gets hurt? Same OL song and dance! Pitiful!

I agree with that. The progress has been slow under Barbee but there has been progress, which is impressive in view of our relatively disinterested fan base and history as an SEC doormat. It is not that easy to get the 6' 6" guards who are rated four and five stars to come to Auburn, although Barbee is beginning to get a few of them to give us a look. I think we stay the course and the program will continue to improve. We have a chicken and egg problem. Fans don't want to come to the games until we are SEC contenders, but fans in the arena contribute to winning. There is no quick fix unless we get really lucky in recruiting. Generally, recruiting isn't based on luck.

If you don't think this team is progressing then you don't know Jack about basketball. I understand you are a negative person (its obvious by all of your overly negative posts) but come on. This team is improving and will continue. The dumpster fire and zero talent he inherited couldn't be fixed over night. He's building it from the ground up. Some people just won't recognize it until there is a finished product. You are definitely one of those people. This team is talented and they are playing better as a team as time goes on. Yeah the KY game was ugly but its just part of the process. 3 years later there is improvement and the foundation is there to create a solid program. Think big picture. They obviously aren't going to win it all in March this year and that's probably all that would satisfy you but TB knows what he's doing and good things lie ahead.
