I was Navy myself for a little over 5 years. Helped convert a Coast Guard cutter for close inshore work off Vietnam back in 68 when I was stationed on the Sperry in San Diego. I hope your tall enough to pass the physical.

As a former Naval officer myself I will also say good luck to you. Worked with the coasties a lot in drug ops in the Caribbean. On the whole I think they had a lot of fun. Also, with the military cuts coming we're headed for another 70's period and the coast guard will be cut less due to its law enforcement role. The other services and the Navy will be fading in readiness and training.
