Yes it does look like a strong staff, but overlooked by fans and not writers is that most have served with Johnson in the past and there will be precious little time wasted, with those supporting, learning what Johnson wants to teach. Malzahn has not made the mistake that salted both Auburn's defense and VanGorder in 2012 leaving both high and dry. Jacobs head coach starting his second year is far smarter than one years experience should give him. It should be interesting to see what these men can do, under Malzahn's leadership, with talented players. My guess? It will be surprising.

Good points, but the biggest thing that I see that AU must do is to become bigger, faster, and stronger in 9 months. They must become a physical football team. Everybody beat up on them last year.

Their stops range from 4 to 15. Hope they retire at Auburn.

Looks like a combined 76 years of SEC experience on defense. Hopefully, that fact alone will be noticeable on the field in 2013!
