Very excited about recent turn of events. AU will have a dynamic offense and defense behind the CGM and Coach Johnson. Gus brings excitement and a new approach to offense that should excite recruits, players and fans. And Coach Johnson bring instant creditibility on Defense which should have the same effect. Winning in the best recruiting tool.......

By the way, I think Gus is a great hire but I know that some have concerns about the defense.

2. Somewhat better. It is still fresh in my mind from when BVG was hired and according to many on this board we would be back to playing hard nose AU defense. Well, we all know how that turned out. Hopefully, there will be actual improvement now.

CGM has a great plan so far. When I told a bama friend at church last night (coached with the Bear at UAT) that it looked like CEJ was going to take the DC job, you should have seen the look on his face. He then just said "Really? GREAT hire."
